Best Western PLUS The Arden Park Hotel

My room was quiet and very comfortable. Bedding sheets and bed comfort are excellent. There is no odd smell in the room. Bathroom is spoltless, clean and well stocked. I never heard any sound from the adjoining rooms. The people staying here were quiet and friendly. I like the sq. ft. size of the room; if I was taveling with someone, the room size is very good for two. I did not use the room for business/laptop PC work. The clothing closet has ample room. I liked that the room refrigerator is silent, and the sound eminating from the a/c unit is comfortable; The thermostat for air temperature control is simple and responsive. I asked to extend my stay for one more night. There are three (3) front desk staff who made this accomondation for me so that I did NOT need to move to another room. The front desk staff are exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and offered helpful suggestions and recommendations so that my visit in Stratford for four days went smoothly, and memorable. I am returning to stay here in a few months because I enjoyed staying at TBW-The Arden; I'm NOT looking anywhere else to stay in Stratford. The Dining Room has a very good menu selection (see web page for entire menu); food variety is pleasing to contemplate; meals are prepared very well and are delicious. The wait staff were all very hepful, friendly, responsive, and they cleared plates from the table when I was finished with them. The buffet foods were moist, fresh and attended. Nice basic wine selection; the Cabernet is delicious. The Crab Cakes are perfect. Try the rich Chocolate Mousse Cake. Nice bar/lounge and appetizer selections.

Great location for theatre-going and Stratford's main street, on-site restaurant with a good menu and very friendly wait staff, comfortable beds, overall a very clean and comfortable suite. Very efficient and friendly staff.

The room was spacious, with 1 large king sized bed. A nice sitting area near the window with a large TV for viewing. Fridge, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, all washing needs were available in the room. Since our booking, my wife has relied almost totally on a wheelchair for mobility. we were offered an accessible room upon check in. Perhaps we should have taken the offer. The room door was heavy and was heavily loaded to close briskly behind patron upon entry. It was a bit of a challenge opening door and not having it crash onto the wheelchair. The restaurant at the hotel was actually quite good. The Sunday night dinner special of Prime Rib Roast with Yorkshire, trimmings and choice of dessert for $42 Cdn was delicious. Perhaps the hotel might consider Senior's portions as an option. We would have been satisfied sharing 1 special. But when looking for wheelchair accessibility, this hotel proved to be outstanding.

The minute we walked through the door to reception we were welcomed by a very lovely receptionist. Our room was exceptionally large, clean and comfortable. It was a little dated but we loved the space, the comfy sofa and bed. We ate in the hotel and the meal was exceptional as was the service. This continued at breakfast as well. The location was good too. A little far to walk to town for us but literally a few minutes by car. A great hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

The room was extremely clean, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable. The windows opened, which I like. We were on the second floor above the banquet hall. There was a wedding with dancing till 1 am, and I thought the music was well-dampened, but if you're sensitive to noise you might want a higher floor if an event is scheduled during your stay. We didn't try the restaurant, so I can't speak to it.
